From conducting controlled burns, to building wildlife nest structures, to creating early successional forests, the Pennsylvania Game Commission’s land management team works to ensure our native species can thrive in a diverse array of healthy habitats. More than 150 state game wardens are working every day to serve and uphold laws protecting our wildlife. Wildlife biologists use their extensive knowledge and training to study and provide management recommendations for the Commonwealth’s game and non-game species. Altogether, agency staff is working together to improve the conservation quality of Pennsylvania’s nearly 30 million total acres.
