WHY DOES THE PENNSYLVANIA SPRING GOBBLER SEASON START AFTER GOBBLING BEGINS?

“Lots of folks think we should have an earlier spring gobbler season, because they hear turkeys gobbling in February and March,” said National Wild Turkey Federation Regional Biologist Bob Eriksen.
